The Kansas Job's Daughters had the pleasure of presenting a HIKE check to a young man and his family who live in Manhattan. The presenation was done at the official visit of the Grand Guardian at Bethel #7 in Abilene. Helping with the presentation were both Daughter HIKE Coordinators, Sarah and Anna, in addition to the Grand Guardian Connie and Associate Grand Guardian Bob and all those in attendance at Bethel #7

The HIKE fund is the only charity for kids where the funds are raised by kids. Kids helping kids. HIKE is a philanthropy project supported by Job's Daughters International. The funds raised by our members and adults are used to purchase hearing devices or other devices for children who's parents would not be able to afford those devices if not for the help of this fund. Established in 1985 the fund continues to help families of all walks of life. The fund has awarded over $3 million dollars in devices to very deserving children. All those who apply are given help but the waiting list may be up to six months long, depending on donations.
