Are you thinking about going to Supreme Session in Richmond, Virginia? We are working on getting pricing for a bus, but we really need to know how many we will have to ride on the bus. We would be leaving Saturday, August 1, 2009, about 6 p.m. from Kansas City, which will put us in Richmond Sunday afternoon. Coming home we will leave Saturday night after the Installation and will be back in Kansas City Sunday early evening.
We have looked into flying and it is more expensive to fly and rent cars than taking the bus by as much as $150 per person. So, if we can get enough people, the bus is the way to go!
So, again we will ask … are you thinking about going to Supreme? If you are “thinking” about going with the group on the bus please let us know by October 15. There is not financial commitment by this day, just a verbal commitment.
Cost Information:
Bus - $278-$378 per person (that is based on 25-33 people on the bus …so the more we get on the bus the less we each pay! If we could get 40 people to ride the bus it would cost us about $240 each)
Hotel - $249 per person based on 4 people in each room
Registration - $52 (girls); $57 (non-voting adults); $90 (voting)
Meals – we won’t know this until the packet comes out but you will need money for 3 meals a day for Sunday – Sunday. And snacks along the way!
Tours – We probably won’t do any of the “session” tours but do plan to take a day for DC; Williamsburg; and any other touring we want to do. If we go by bus we will have the bus at our disposal all week.
If you are planning to go with us to Richmond, we will need a deposit of $100 by January 15. Registration and Meals will be due by May 1 and the balance of the bus and hotel will be due by June 15. You are welcome to make payments along the way and we will hold onto it for you.
